Wrestling With God: The Beginning

Back in January, I never planned on launching something like this. Honestly, it started with me just opening my Bible again after years of being skeptical, tired, and maybe a little stubborn. What I found was that God doesn’t shy away from our questions. In fact, He meets us right in the middle of them.

That’s what this space is about. Wrestling. Not with easy verses, but with the hard ones. The ones that make us pause, frown, or even want to slam the book shut. I believe that if Scripture is truly living and active, then we don’t have to pretend those hard parts aren’t there. We can face them head-on—with honesty, with doubt, with faith that’s still finding its footing.

This blog is just one piece of a bigger project. Alongside the book and its companion workbook, my hope is that it will grow into a community of people who aren’t afraid to say, “I don’t understand, but I’m still here.”

You’ll see reflections, stories, maybe even some confessions. In time there may be members-only features and even in-person gatherings, if God keeps opening doors.

For now, I just want to say welcome. If you’ve ever wrestled with God—like Jacob did—then you already belong here.
